MLB All Star Game(can the NL Win One)

Is it Bad Luck? Is there anything such as luck in sports? Or can it be considered a lack of effort, talent or a curse? For whatever the cause you think it maybe, the National League hasn't won the All Start game now for 10 years..! Can you believe that 10 years! You might want to make the case that any team that has a 10 game winning streak over the other is just simply because they own them but what about a team that changes every year and that actually has many players who switch sides (When they are traded from one league to the other like Carlos Beltran)
For this reason and after watching the National League bust themselves for 9 innings and give up a one run lead with two outs in the 9th inning I can conclude that the NL is facing this losing streak not because of lack of effort or talent... is because of BAD LUCK... and this may signal the beginning of a curse. You may say "Who cares about the All Star Game Sports Guru?" Well if you are a true baseball fan with a GOOD team you would because it unfortunately determines home advantage in the World Series!!! That is why they need to end this "whoever wins gets home court right now" and make it so that the team with the best overall record gets the advantage.The guru has talked, what do you guys all think?
